FAIM 2010  FINAL Announcement and Call for Abstracts

July 12-14, 2010 - California State University

The 20th anniversary meeting of the International Conference on Flexible
Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing (FAIM 2010) will be hosted by
California State University, East Bay at its Oakland Center, approximately
20 minutes from San Francisco.  The center is located in the heart of
dynamic downtown Oakland, California on the eastern shore of beautiful San
Francisco Bay.  Nearby hotels are easily accessible by public transportation
and in close proximity to regional major tourist attractions.  

The theme of FAIM 2010 is Intelligent Manufacturing and Services.
Economies, information, and technology have become global, and many
companies are outsourcing and developing extended enterprises.  At FAIM
2010, internationally renowned keynote speakers, including successful
industrial practitioners, will address the concerns, trends, and
best-practice solutions in sustainable enterprise, covering small to large
systems.

Authors must submit an abstract in English of approximately 300 words by
e-mail or via the web site.  After abstracts are reviewed, authors will be
notified of the outcome.  Authors of accepted abstracts will be asked to
furnish an electronic copy-ready version of the full paper.  All submitted
papers will be peer reviewed, and at least one author must register in order
to have the paper published in the proceedings.  A maximum of two papers per
author are permitted.  See additional instructions online at

      Notification of Abstract Acceptance:         December 14, 2009

      Latest Date for Full Papers:                        January 29, 2010
