IERC 2008 Human Factors and Ergonomics Track

On behalf of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Track Organizing Committee
of IERC 2008, we invite you to organize one or more sessions and/or
submit papers (or abstracts for presentations) in the Human Factors and
Ergonomics Track. Each session will have 75 minutes. As an invited
session chair, you would invite 3-4 speakers in each of your session(s).
Please note, and let your invited speakers know, that presentations with
abstract only are also accepted.
The topics of interest include, but are not limited to anthropometry,
human-computer interaction, advanced displays and controls, applications
of ergonomics and work analysis methods, digital human modeling,
physical ergonomics, cognitive engineering and decision making, design
for special populations, usability engineering, human performance,
safety, auditory perception, haptics, virtual/augmented reality, human
reliability, human factors in healthcare, individual difference,
macroergonomics, training, testing and evaluation, etc.
Please let us know if you are interested in organizing sessions in the
Human Factors and Ergonomics Track. You can do so by contacting Mohammad
Khasawneh either via email (mkhasawn at binghamton.edu) or by phone
(607-777-4408). We would appreciate it if we can hear from you as soon
as possible but no later than October 19, 2007 (hard deadline). The
conference deadlines are as follows:
Submission of initial abstract: October 26, 2007
Notifications of acceptance/declines of abstracts sent: December 14,
2007
Submission of papers (this is optional, not a requirement): January 25,
2008
Notification of acceptance/declines of papers: March 14, 2008
Final paper due: March 28, 2008
Speaker registration deadline: April 4, 2008.
