Call for Paper, Presentations, and Session Organizers
Quality Control and Reliability Engineering (QCRE) Track
IERC 2008 Annual Conference
May 17-21
Westin Bayshore,
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
The QCRE Division in IIE is planning to sponsor a cluster of sessions in the
general quality control and reliability engineering research area. The
interested topics will include, but not limited to applied statistics,
quality control, distributed sensing and data analysis, reliability modeling
and analysis, maintenance planning, process control, and decision making,
etc.
Speaker has an option to submit a full length paper to the conference
proceedings. The paper format requirement will be come out at the conference
web site www.iieannual.org. Presentation without paper is also acceptable.
For the authors with the full-length paper submission, we will give the high
priority for the acceptance, and have the Best Paper Award competition for
your challenge in the conference.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee of QCRE Track of IERC2008, we would
like to invite you to organize sessions or submit papers/presentation in
your area of expertise in the quality and reliability research area. For
the session organizer, please keep in mind that you need to invite 3~4
speakers in your sessions. Each session takes 75mins.
The Important due dates for the abstract/paper submission are:
Submission of initial abstract (200 or fewer words): October 26, 2007
Notifications of acceptance/declines of abstracts sent: December 8, 2006
Submission of papers (this is optional, not a requirement): January 25, 2008
Notification of acceptance/declines of papers: March 14, 2008
Final paper due: March 28, 2008
Speaker registration deadline: April 4, 2008.
