Creating Advanced Systems for Inter-organizational Information Sharing and
Collaboration

CALL FOR PAPERS

The call for papers for ISCRAM2008 is out! Due to an excellent response to
our call for special sessions we can now offer 28 special sessions! Often
several international scholars and practitioners have teamed up to organize
a session together. In addition to regular research sessions, several CFPs
are focusing on contributions from practitioners (marked with an asterisk in
the list below). For the first time ISCRAM2008 will also offer a poster
session.

All CFPs can be downloaded in PDF format by clicking on the session name in
the table below. Alternatively you can access them from the www.iscram.org
web site by selecting 'ISCRAM2008 Special Sessions' in the ISCRAM2008 menu
on the left. All CFPs contain complete instructions and important dates.
Research sessions accept full papers and research in progress papers while
practitioner sessions accept Powerpoint presentations and short practitioner
papers. All contributions have to be submitted via our paper submission
system at www.conftool.com/iscram2008. The final submission date is December
21st 2007. Please note that the format for the papers and further
announcements are also posted on www.iscram.org <http://www.iscram.org/> .

If you wish to submit a paper that clearly fits with the general ISCRAM2008
conference theme, but does not fit in one of the special sessions, please
submit it to one of the open ISCRAM sessions. If you have any question on a
specific CFP: contact the session chairs; their email addresses are in the
CFPs.

If you have any general questions or remarks please mail to
iscram2008 at iscram.org.

The 5th annual ISCRAM conference brings together crisis management and
information technology experts from academia and practice. The conference
provides an important networking opportunity where the latest research on
the design, development, use and evaluation of information systems for
crisis response and management are presented and discussed. The conference
will take place at the George Washington University and is hosted by the
Institute for Crisis, Disaster, and Risk Management. The general theme of
ISCRAM2008 is ""Creating Advanced Systems for Inter-organizational
Information Sharing and Collaboration".
