IERC 2008 Facility Logistics Track

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of IERC 2008, I invite you to  
submit contributed papers (or abstracts for presentations) in the  
Facility Logistics Track.  Each session will have 75 minutes.

Papers in the Facility Logistics Track should involve facility design  
and material handling for manufacturing, distribution, and service  
facilities.  Research topics include both design and operational  
aspects of material and information flow within facilities to improve  
productivity and performance.  Specific topics include facility  
layout, material handling, storage/retrieval systems, order  
fulfillment, sensor deployment, and inventory tracking and control,  
among others.

The conference deadlines are as follows:

Submission of initial abstract: October 26, 2007
Notifications of acceptance/declines of abstracts sent: December 14,  
2007
Submission of papers (this is optional, not a requirement): January  
25, 2008
Notification of acceptance/declines of papers: March 14, 2008
Final paper due: March 28, 2008
Speaker registration deadline: April 4, 2008.
