[Chem undergrad] Please tell students to be patient with Registration

The Registration System is experiencing problems.... DCIT is working as fast
as they can.... please ask students to register for what they can see,
you can help anyone you are willing to help by looking up on the mainframe
the available sections they can't see and they can do a "quick add".  That's
what we are doing... but there are WAY too many calls for us to be able to
handle them all.  Please do not tell students to call our office....if they
call
you, help the ones you can help....our phones are ringing off the hook as it
is.  Thank you!

You can tell students who call, please pass this along to others in your
department, that they can go to SIS on the web to see the Schedule of
Classes under SIS on the Web.  It will not tell them if there are empty
seats, but it will tell them dates and times available.  Then they can go to
WEB REGISTRATION to do the QUICK ADD option
to add the class and/or Lab.  It is not efficient and it will be
aggravating, but it will work.  This is a "stop gap" measure, but hopefully
it will help.  Thanks so much.
We will let you know when the system is "fixed".  Thanks for your help in
passing along this interim solution.  :)
