This year we are going to try and do more hands on community service, so please let me know what ideas you like! Clemson Community Care -- needs canned food! they also need volunteers for the following areas: food pantry, home repair program, clerical support, and yard work. CCC also sponsors the CROP walk (Oct. 12th). if there is interest, i can contact them about that also. Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen (Seneca, SC) - they feed around 100 people a day AT LUNCH and always is looking for volunteers and donations. *disclaimer: this is a "faith-based" soup kitchen, so you do not have to volunteer if you are not comfortable with that* Helping Hands - they take in children from bad family situations and house them temporarily. Helping Hands has a thrift shop in Central and always is looking for donations (clothes, shoes, electronics, etc..) and volunteers. Solid Green - Solid Green day is Nov 19th. help clean up campus and get a free t-shirt! Clemson Child Development Center - needs volunteers to help with a Murder Mystery Dinner fundraiser (setup/serving dinner and drinks/cleanup). setup on Oct. 23rd and the dinner on Oct. 24th.
