I have an echo device and always ask Alexa that question! It also has a Black history quiz app.
Circling back to a previous email, I tend to focus on MLK's speeches and writings from 1966-1968. It took 15 years for Congress to pass legislation making MLK day a national holiday. Corretta Scott King and friends of Civil Rights fought every year until it happened.

BGS, did you know that you can ask Google "What happened today in Black History?" any day and you'll get a fact from the Black Heritage Day calendar created by Dr. Carl Mack a fellow Mississippi native?
