My friends:
I’m sorry that I have not been able to be with you in our weekly sessions. This spring semester is fraught with various duties and meetings that continuously pull me away over the noon hour. I truly hope to be back in the mix soon. I miss the camaraderie!
Stay well!

Subject: [Bgs-list] City of Clemson Black History Month Celebration & Barbershop
Fellow BG’s,
Today is Friday February 19th and it seems as Black History Month is flying by. Today we will be having lunch at the Barbershop at noon. Feel free to come in and get your head chopped as we talk current events, pop culture and identity politics.
Also want to invite you to attend the City of Clemson’s First Annual celebration of Black History Month on Tuesday night at 6:30 pm featuring guest speaker Dr. Ashra Kwesi as he discusses the importance of understanding that Black History is world history. Dr. Kwesi will be discussing the African contributions to society in the areas of science, medicine, and symbolism of America. The event is free on zoom but you must register and spaces are limited so register early using the link below.

Todays Barbershop topics include “Judas and The Black Messiah", “Cracked", "American Skin”. Can the African-American community produce another Fred Hampton in 2021? All things Covid, including are you ready and willing to take the vaccine? The new Fetal Heartbeat law which was signed into law yesterday in SC, and anything else that we want to talk about. Also today will include a very special photo presentation you won’t want to miss.
