Tomorrow is the first Wednesday of February, and not only is it Black History Month but it’s time for us to get together and fellowship. Tomorrow’s topic is all about Black History Month. We will discuss what makes a person qualified to be the keynote speaker for a university Black History Month Program? Not just a presenter during the month, but we want to know what you have to have done or your connection to Black people, their histories, etc. in order for you to be the main institutional speaker for the month. The other point we will investigate is what is in it for white people? In other words why should white people care about and attend Black History Month events? Finally, we will ask the question is it time to do away with Black History Month? I know you want some of this discussion and the only way you can get it is to attend lunch tomorrow at noon. We will be at Amici’s across the street from the Clemson University Tennis Complex. As usual reply only to me so we will know how many seats we will need. It’s Black History Month so let’s make history and break our own attendance record. Don’t worry about how many people have to be there just show up and bring another BG.
On another note I need one of my IT friends to let me know what’s the best modem/router combo to buy that works with Northland cable, I need that 1 gigabyte download speed AT&T 50 mps just ain’t cutting it. Thanks.
