[Bgs-list] Lunch Wednesday March 20th

Fellow Bg’s,

This Wednesday will be the third Wednesday of the month and that means it is time for us to break bread. If you are not out of town enjoying Clemson’s Spring Break come join us for lunch at Amici’s on the now destroyed highway 93 across the street from the Clemson University Tennis complex (yes right in the middle of the construction). As usual lunch will be at noon. This week’s topics include guns, gun violence and white nationalism, supremacy movements: are they terrorist? This topic stands on it’s on I am sure there are other things we will discuss but that’s the one I am putting on the table. I won’t be there this week as I will be in Cedar Rapids, Iowa attending and presenting at the 20th anniversary of the White Privilege Conference where we will be discussing the same topic and many other topics around how white privilege, supremacy and nationalism are impacting people globally. Make sure you reply to me so I can let the folks who will be attending lunch know how many people to expect. I will see you on the first Wednesday of April, but look forward to hearing how this discussion went. Especially interested in hearing from those of you who work at Clemson University where certain terms like white privilege are banned from the common discourse.
