Man this is not interesting it’s dismal. If they only had 98 Black male freshmen last year and you remove the Black male athletes from that number then Clemson is not doing so well, something I think we all know. That 25% non-white by 2026 is also misleading because you do t have to have more Black and Latino students just more non-white students which would include students who are white but choose not to identify themselves as such. Based on their current efforts I doubt that they will ever match the states Black and Latino male percentages no matter how many summits they host. I want to see the plan and know who is responsible for implementing it and who will be held accountable if it fails. I don’t know about the rest of you but I am not ok with success being defined by non whites when the metric is supposed to be increasing Blacks and Latinos. Pardon the cliche but that’s comparing apples to oranges and being happy we got more fruit.
