Happy New Year! The third Wednesday of the month is approaching an dit will be our first lunch of 2019. We will be going to Amici’s again to start the year off. We are also accepting suggestions for other lunch locations. Feel free to tell me your choices when you come to lunch on Wednesday. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT send your suggestions to the list. If you don’t come to lunch we really don’t care where you want to go. Show up first then you can speak up. Thanks. Lunch will b eat noon. Amici’s is on Hwy 93 across from the Clemson University tennis complex and yes all of the construction. Topics will include 1) What resolution would you like to see African-Americans make as a collective this year? 2) Your thoughts on R. Kelley? 3) Your thoughts on the government shutdown. 4) Given his praise of MLK should Dabo and the Tigers accept an invitation to the Whitehouse if one is extended? And as always anything else thats on your heart and/or mind. Make sure you rsvp ONLY to me not the entire list so we can have an idea of how many seats we will need.

BG ETTIQUETTE 

This email list is designed for one purpose and one purpose only. It informs the BG’s who are all included in the master list of which anyone can have their name added to at the request of one of the members who are already on the list. It is primarily used as a means of telling the BG’s s where lunch is located or to invite the BG’s to programs on campus and in the community that may have specific interest to the BG’s. This is not the forum to debate issue, sell goods and services, or to talk about your momma or your kids accomplishments. If you come to lunch you can do any and all of those things while at lunch. Please do not add the BG list to any of your other list and send out blanket emails. All emails that you want disseminated amongst the group should be sent to me the list keeper so that I can send them out to the group.  Failure to abide by these simple rules will probably result in your being removed from the list. Also if you are receiving these emails and wish to be removed from this list you may do so by replying to the me directly and asking to be removed. Thank you for your cooperation.
