BG’s,

This is a reminder to us all that we should not reply to everyone when sending messages. There are some people on this list who are so busy that receiving additional emails from the BG list would interrupt their otherwise productive day. there are also some who have more structured work environments whereby their emails are monitored by an overseer of sorts who would view receiving too many messages from a list titled BG’s would be viewed as non-work related and garner some sort of reprimand. And if we are brutally honest which I am known to be, there are still a few people who receive these emails that are still struggling with the idea that they are a BG and are looking for any reason to ask that we remove them from the list, lets not give them one by bombarding their email box with messages outside of our lunch invites and relevant announcements sent through the appropriate channels. If you have an announcement you would like to send out to the group please send it to bryant at smithcan.com <mailto:bryant at smithcan.com> or Wr at clemson.edu <mailto:Wr at clemson.edu> for us to distribute to the list. If you are replying to a specific message that was sent out please reply to that individual and not the entire list. Should you continue to post messages to the entire list we will assume that it is your desire to become the new list keeper and pass those duties on to you as well.
