Yes, Bryant, I hear you responding, non- defensively, that for academic generations BG's gatherings have been the first and third Wednesday each month. (If one in advance posts the event in his calendar a "late notice" is less disruptive.) 

And as I've observed, first Wednesdays that occur on a day number lower than 5 (or is it 7?) also have always been problematic.

May I suggest we are provided with a more advanced notice of lunch. 1130am is a bit late...how about the day before or as late at 1st thing in the morning. That way our folks and peeps can plan our day.
