yes time is flying this Black History Month. Tomorrow is the third Wednesday of the month and it’s time for us to dine together and check on one another. Tomorrow we will dine at Western Sizzlin on HWY 123 in Clemson. This will be our last BG lunch in February so make sure you come out and celebrate Black History Month! As a matter of fact everyone should bring a Black History fact related to their discipline so that we all walk away with new knowledge and feeling empowered. No stories about MLK or the peanut guy either, bring us one really good Black history fact about someone Black in your field of study or profession. Some of you are Black history facts. Lunch is at noon, reply to me so I will know how many seats to save. Other topics for tomorrow include your opinion on all things Superbowl, from the game, to Beyonce and the halftime show controversy, and of course Cam Newton. We will also talk about the Grammy’s, and Kendrick Lamar’s performance (if you didn’t see it google it so you can be informed) are we in a new age of conscious, protest music? We also need to talk about the SC primaries, the candidates, and hopefully receive a first hand account of how two BG’s were thrown out of the Trump rally last week. This and many more discussions if you dare to show up.
