Good Day BG's,

This coming Wednesday will be the first Wednesday of August and you know what that means? Yes it is time for us to get together have a meal and discuss the issues of the day. It has been one short, hot, and eventful summer. This wednesday we will dine at "Osaka" the Japanese place across the street from the Post Office in Clemson. We will eat at noon. Please reply to me (not the entire list) to let me know that you are coming so we know how many seats to hold. Our topics this week include: the removal of the confederate battle flag from the statehouse grounds, the Black woman who took it down before the state could, mass shootings, gun violence, and terrorism, DWDB (Death While Driving Black), and the recent shootings in Seneca and Clemson why we should care and what will we do about it? Special shout out to our resident political analyst Dr. Ransom as we also want to discuss all things political especially Trump and the other Republican candidates, Hilary, and President Obama's recent trip to Kenya. As usual any and everything else that you might wan to talk about is always able to be added. This is the last BG lunch before classes resume so you don't want to miss this one. Dexter will also be showing off his new back to school clothes and haircut. See you all there, and in the words of comedian George Wallace, "I love you and there is nothing you can do about it".
