[Bgs-list] IT Equipment Assistance

Hey BGs,

This is mainly a question for the I.T. contingent here, but anyone's thoughts/feedback would be greatly appreciated. As many of you know, my partner Darryl and I launched a nonprofit about a year ago to teach and get more students interested in Computer Science & Engineering, called CommunityCode (www.communitycode.org). We were very pleased to have recently received a donation from a local businessman of 3 Dell Optiplex 755 All-In-One Desktops with Intel Core2Duo at 2.33 GHz, 2GB RAM, 250GB HD and licensed Windows 7 from a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher paired with a Dell Ultrasharp 1708FP 17" LCD Monitor, although what we really need is laptops, which are more portable, and which we could transport to various sites around the area for teaching.

I've heard that it will be difficult to make an exchange (desktops for laptops) at a place like a local Best Buy, but I think that selling them on Ebay or Amazon would probably be last resorts. Do you all know of anywhere where we might be able to make an exchange?
