Unpopular Obama: Texas prison inmate gets 4 in 10 votes in Democratic
primary in West Virginia

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Just how unpopular is President Barack Obama in some
parts of the country? Enough that a man in prison in Texas got 4 out of 10
votes in West Virginia’s Democratic presidential primary.

I heard about it on NPR's All Things Considered just now. The reporter
questioned a WV official about it and asked if race had any bearing. He of
course said no, that it was due to Pres. Obama's perceived anti-coal stance
and the economy. I can't tell you exactly who the official is or what post
he holds, but the audio and transcript of the NPR story will be available
