BGs and "world tourist, BG Smith" 

 

I will be there, as I am interested in (representing?) the Paterno family's
response to the Freeh report. Which report I think Paternos are grounded in
attacking as principally a confirmation of accusations without much (any?)
probing into the opposing constructions of "how it went down." (Freeh team
has said that the others, citing pending court dates, would not speak with
them.  So, what did Freeh do beyond "confirm" what has been published?)
Alternatively, I will offer my opinion that some (most/all?) are so
concerned about being charged and dismissed as callous toward the victims
that they are focused on arguments and constructions of the events  that all
but charge the fallible four with malice aforethought in aiding and abetting
Sandusky with little or no possibility that protecting the institutional
brand (and maybe their own butts) that they gave no or too little thought to
the victims as they moved to handle the situation in the age old way. 

 

Ideally, we will have interest in and  time for items 1,2, and 4.

BG's,

 

Tomorrow will mark the 3rd Wednesday of July and that means it is time for
us to fellowship during the lunch hour. We will meet tomorrow at Noon at
Monterey's Mexican in Clemson right off of Hwy 76 in the plaza with the ATM
and the Cleaners. If you don't know how to get there email us and we can
tell you how. Topics include: 1) The weather do you believe in global
warming now?; 2) Who do you think the GOP will select as a running mate for
their Presidential candidate?; 3) What should happen to Penn State now that
new evidence suggest that there may have been a cover up which allowed
Sandusky to continue to have access to young boys?; 4) Have you seen an
episode of "Love And Hip Hop Atlanta"?. These and any additional topics you
would like to bring up. Make sure you reply to all so we know how large (or
small) of a table to ask for. I look forward to seeing all of you tomorrow.
