My Brothers and Dear Friends:

I guess I should make it public.  Michelle and I are leaving Clemson this summer.
We are moving to Columbia, where she will be the Augusta Baker Endowed Chair of Children’s Literacy at the University of South Carolina in the School of Library Sciences.
This is a tremendous opportunity for her and well deserved.  I extremely proud of her.
On Tuesday, I accepted a position as Senior Marketing Writer in the Strategic Marketing Division at USC.  I start July 18.  Michelle starts in fall.
The BG’s are one of the best parts of being in Clemson.  I hope to continue being an active member and try my best to make back for meetings.
