I will attend since I have no Black speaker contracts for "the okay season."
I will depart early, however, for afternoon appointments. And now that I
have fought through a writer's slump, I expect to submit my invited letter.
It's lodged in my head.

Subject: [Bgs-list] Lunch New Year

BG's,

New Year but same BG's. Happy New Year to all of you. This Wednesday will be
the 1st Wednesday of the month and of 2011 so we all know that means... it's
talk about Dexter day!!!! No it's lunchtime. With the students being gone I
thought we should try our luck at the Cookout on 123. They have a private
room that I am sure we can have as long as one of us gets there early enough
to secure it. Tomorrow's topics include your thoughts on the police shootout
in Ohio, the school board meeting shooting in Florida (yes the one where
"Ginger" tries to hit the guy with her purse), and why people shoot on New
Years Eve in big cities and not in the country (where I believe there are
more firearms)? I detect a theme to my topics please leave your concealed
weapons at home for lunch or at least in your car. As always make sure you
respond to all on the list so they will know who will be attending. This is
the start of "It's ok to be a Black Speaker" season so I may not be at lunch
myself and will be asking someone else to handle list keeping perhaps until
March 1 when Black time is over and my schedule slows down.

On another note those of you who have agreed to submit letters for the book
they are due now. If you don't know what I am talking about and want to
submit something for publication, email me so I can bring you up to speed.

Thanks.

The Great List Keeper (this will have to suffice until I develop that one
name moniker that everyone will refer to me as in the future like Luther, or
Denzel)
