My Fellow BG's,

I have viewed the video and appreciate Brother White's sharing it with  
us. as an educator I applaud the brother who produced it I believe his  
heart was in the right place however I feel as though his disregard  
for presenting historical facts accurately will ultimately do more  
harm than good. I am not sure the fictitious mastermind villain is the  
best way to teach this material. I would be interested in seeing how  
teenagers and college age youth react to this video. It has been my  
experience that this approach would be deemed too preachy and thus not  
effective with that audience. I do believe that middle school students  
and younger might be influenced by this type of presentation. My fear  
is that as more elders embrace this video our youth will be left  
without true understanding of our history on this planet and the  
impact of the slave trade on world politics. Just my two scents.
