I will attend and I expect that Byron will accompany me. And I'm hoping that
someone among us on Wednesday can describe the exotica (red drawers and
all!) that could command a half a $million chance game of hide the weenie -
annually, that is!

My fellow BG's,

 

Another holiday has come and gone and I thought I would provide us with a
teachable moment. Here is a link to Frederick Douglas's speech he delivered

The 4th of July has barely passed but there have been lots of fireworks. How
many of you would give up half a million dollars for a game of hide the
weenie like the brother at UGA just did? How about Tiger giving up $750
million for his games of hide the weenie? I am not sure what Elin did to
earn $750 million but I know I would be willing to do it as well. Will CNN
hire a brother to replace Larry King now that he is retiring? These and
other great questions will be discussed at lunch on Wednesday. We will be
dining at one of the newest eateries in Clemson... that's right Chic-Filet
on 123 next to McDonalds. They have a great new spicy chicken sandwich and I
really enjoy there ice cream. Lunch will be at noon and as usual please
reply to everyone so we will know who to expect. Tomorrows bonus
entertainment one of our favorite BG's Grant Cunningham will be signing
autographs now that Toyota of Easley has made him a celebrity. I know he has
made me use tivo to tape commercials I can't get enough of seeing him!!! Oh
but wait you say that is not enough to make you want to be at lunch how
about this bonus...one of our very own BG's will be dressed as the
Chic-Filet Cow!!! Yes, thats right and if you want to know who will be
behind the moo face you will have to come to lunch. You don't want to miss
this. By the way please take not that I have a new title and will no longer
respond to being called the list keeper, adjunct or otherwise.
