I will attend. I'm eager to know what you "look like" when you "feel like
Chinese"! Or, is that a curious notion on my part?

Subject: [Bgs-list] Lunch
Greetings My Fellow BGs,
that's right it's that time again. This coming wednesday August 4, 2010 is
the first Wednesday of the month and we will be getting together to do what
we do... talk trash, eat well, and hurt someone's feeling, not necessarily
in that order. This week we will be dining at the House of Leung for no
other reason than I was feeling like Chinese. When you become "Executive
Organizer in Charge of Noon Discourse" you can make us eat whatever you
like, until then we do it my way. Now where was I? We will be dining at noon
as usual please reply to all so we will know how many to expect. This week
we will be discussing such topics as: 1) Should "Lift Every Voice And Sing"
continue to be referred to as the "Negro National Anthem"? 2) How do you
feel as a Black Man to hear Sarah Palin say that the White, female Governor
of Arizona "has more balls than President Obama" when it comes to the
immigration issue? 3) Is asking a rookie to carry a veteran players
equipment hazing? Should we care? These and many other topics will be passed
around the table along with some special entertainment from Dexter who will
be doing his impersonation of Bobby Brown singing a Whitney Houston classic
"I'll Always love You". Let's all come out and fellowship before the
semester starts and we all get too busy to notice that we are Black, hungry,
and entitled to eat at least twice a month with other Black people. Special
shout out to Grant Cunningham we are still waiting for you to come sign our
autographs from your wonderful tv appearance in the toyota ads.
